- ESPN’s James Walker believes Dolphins LB Koa Misi is on the roster bubble heading into 2017. Misi is recovering from spinal fusion surgery and a neck injury that cut his 2016 season short.
- Misi played just 128 snaps in 2016 after playing over 400 in each season of his career to that point. Misi graded above 80 in his previous two seasons, with his highest grade coming in 2014 (81.5).
- One of Misi's strengths throughout his career has been stopping the run, evident by a 9.4 career run stop percentage, which would have ranked 19th among 60 qualified linebackers last season. In 2015 – Misi's last full season – he ranked 13th among linebackers with an 80.1 run defense grade.
