  • According to head coach Doug Marrone, Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Dede Westbrook is a game-time decision for Thursday’s final preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons. Marrone was quoted as saying: “I felt pretty confident the other day that he was going to be able to play. Right now I'm not sure.”
  • The Oklahoma product was electric in 2016, boasting the third-highest yards per route run (the number of yards a receiver picks up on a per route basis) among 264 qualifying wide receivers, with 4.08. Quarterbacks also had the third-highest passer rating when targeting Westbrook in 2016 with 148.2.
  • While a small sample size, Westbrook has shown similar flashes of potential since entering the NFL. The rookie is in a five-way tie for first among 192 qualifying receivers in highest passer rating when targeted this preseason, with a 158.3. His 7.86 yards per route run is the most among 193 qualifying wide receivers.
