- New York Giants WR Brandon Marshall underwent an x-ray on his shoulder after the game with the Cleveland Browns Monday night. Marshall played 26 snaps against the Browns but didn’t come out after halftime with the starters done for the night.
- Marshall has consistently been one of the best NFL receivers in the PFF era. On five different occasions, Marshall has ranked inside the top 20 wide receivers in terms of overall grades since 2006 (PFF era began in 2006). In 2013, Marshall achieved an overall PFF grade of 91.6, the best by a receiver that season.
- In 2016, Marshall’s overall PFF grade of 72.3 ranked 66th and was the lowest overall grade since his rookie season. Last year, Marshall had a passer rating of 49.9 when targeted, this was the lowest by any receiver with a minimum of 44 targets.
