- The Philadelphia Eagles have released CB Dwayne Gratz in order to free up room to sign QB Dane Evans as they head into training camp. Gratz signed with the team in December, but never played for them before being cut loose.
- Last season, Gratz played just 87 snaps for the Jaguars and allowed a catch every time he was targeted (five for five, for 25 yards). His career passer rating allowed is 101.8.
- QB Dane Evans was an undrafted free agent out of Tulsa, where he posted an NFL passer rating of 95.4 under pressure in 2016, good enough for 10th in the nation.
