Eagles LT Jason Peters gets one-year contract extension

The Philadelphia Eagles signed LT Jason Peters to a one-year extension Wednesday, keeping him under contract through 2019.
Peters earned an overall PFF grade of 88.3, which was eighth best among 78 qualifying tackles.
He earned an 89.1 pass block grade ranking him sixth best among all tackles, while his 81.6 run blocking grade was 16th.
Peters finished the season with a 97.0 pass blocking efficiency mark, fourth best among 61 qualifying tackles.
The 13-year pro allowed only 13 hurries, eight QB hits and four sacks in 2016 on 650 pass block snaps.
