- Mahomes handled the blitz well in his small sample, completing both of his passes in that situation for 22 yards and a 112.5 passer rating.
- His main competition for the second job, veteran Tyler Bray, was not as impressive Friday, throwing an interception in eight pass attempts and generating just a 47.4 passer rating.
