- Cleveland Browns head coach Hue Jackson reportedly plans to get RB Duke Johnson Jr. involved as much as possible this season given his ability to “do everything.”
- During his two seasons in Cleveland, Johnson has proven to be an effective receiving threat out of the backfield, posting a top-10 receiving grade among running backs both seasons.
- Despite being healthy all season, Johnson’s usage and production curiously declined from 2015 to 2016 as he saw a decrease in total snaps, carries, and receptions. However, Johnson continued to take advantage of his more limited opportunities, again forcing the second-most missed tackles (21) after the catch among all running backs.
