- ESPN's Katherine Terrell believes that Cincinnati Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert will not play in the team's Week 3 game against the Green Bay Packers. Eifert is dealing with knee and back injuries, and did not practice Wednesday or Thursday. Tyler Kroft would take his place in the lineup if he can't play.
- Eifert is currently ranked 22nd at tight end with an overall grade of 75.2. He was PFF's fifth-highest graded tight end in 2015 and 2016 with grades of 87.2 and 86.3 respectively.
- Last season Eifert only played 429 snaps after missing time with an ankle injury he suffered in the 2016 Pro Bowl. In 2015 he led all tight ends with three touchdowns on deep passes (targets 20 yards downfield or more), and was fourth in deep passing touchdowns with two last year despite his limited snaps.
