- According to NFL reporter Aaron Wilson, Cincinnati Bengals cornerback William Jackson III has fully recovered from the torn pectoral muscle that cost him his rookie season.
- Jackson III spent the 2015 college season at the University of Houston, where he ended the season with an overall PFF grade of 90.1, the highest among 392 qualifying cornerbacks.
- In coverage, he allowed a passer rating of just 55.6, which was the 12th lowest among 108 2016 draft-eligible corners, and he was the third highest graded cornerback in coverage in 2015, attaining a PFF coverage grade of 89.9.
