  • In 2016, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers ranked first among quarterbacks with a passer of 93.8 on throws under pressure. After three games of the 2017 season, the 13th-year signal-caller appears to be picking up where he left off.
  • The Packers offensive line has really struggled to keep Rodgers free from pressure this season. Through three games, the unit has collectively allowed 52 total pressures, the fifth-most among the league’s pass-blocking units.
  • Thanks to this, Rodgers has logged 65 dropbacks under pressure so far this season, the most among quarterbacks. However, he’s been productive, completing 21 of his 47 pass attempts for 304 yards, three touchdowns, and a passer rating of 87.5 that ranks seventh among 32 qualifying quarterbacks.
  • Rodgers’ production under pressure should not come as a surprise, as it’s an area in which he has excelled in past seasons. In his nine full seasons as starter, Rodgers’ passer rating under pressure has ranked in the top 10 five times, with two first-place finishes coming in 2009 and 2016.
