- San Francisco 49ers defensive lineman DeForest Buckner was the latest player to benefit from going up against the Seattle Seahawks offensive line this week, earning an overall game grade of 92.2.
- Buckner didn’t manage to finish for a sack, but did have four hits and five quarterback hurries to rack up an excellent pass rush productivity score of 17.3. His overall figure for the season of 15.8 leads all interior defenders.
- Fellow first-round pick and Oregon alum Arik Armstead also enjoyed playing the Seahawks, notching a sack and five hurries of his own, but wasn’t nearly as effective against the run as Buckner was.
