We should have known it was going to be a rough week when our consensus pick of the Steelers failed to come in last Thursday night.
If the two weeks prior were deemed ‘too easy' as we logged 12 of a possible 16 cards with double-digit wins, Week 6 proved to be the humbling factor. None of us approached 10+ correct calls and, in fact, we only put up a pair of winning sets as Khaled and Sam topped the embarrassing group with 8-6 records. And, as much as he'd like it to go unmentioned, I have to give Ben, our defending Pick'em champ, a special shout for his painfully bad 4-10 that made us 5-9's feel a little better about ourselves.
Only hitting on one of our three ‘all-in' calls (a near flub as Atlanta took the ‘W' as time expired), our mark on consensus picks fell to a still respectable 28-6. We've got five more to offer this time around: the Giants, Vikings, Packers, Patriots, and… the Raiders.
