The Seattle Seahawks got the job done at home against the Cleveland Browns, and while it wasn’t a pretty 24-20 win, they now sit atop the NFC West through eight weeks.

Offensive spotlight: Geno Smith wasn’t perfect but still orchestrated a strong finish to the game. Smith threw two interceptions but limited his mistakes the rest of the way, helping the Seahawks come back and pick up their fifth win of the season. Smith went 23 for 37 passing for 254 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions on the day. Tyler Lockett delivered with eight receptions for 81 yards and a touchdown, leading the way for the Seahawks receivers across the board against a tough Cleveland defense.

P.J. Walker was under center for the Browns once again this week as Deshaun Watson continues to deal with his shoulder injury. Walker leaned heavily on Amari Cooper and David Njoku through the air, and they were the team's only receivers to notch more than two receptions. Kareem Hunt led the Cleveland backfield with 14 carries, 55 yards and a touchdown on the ground, as Jerome Ford was a game-time decision and wasn’t as involved as in weeks past.

Defensive spotlight: The Seattle defense outproduced the Cleveland defense in this game. The Seahawks delivered three sacks, two interceptions, six pass breakups and a forced fumble. Jamal Adams and Julian Love combined for a clutch interception in the fourth quarter while the team was down, with Adams batting a pass in the air for Love to pick it off. That pick kicked off Seattle's game-winning touchdown drive.

Rookie spotlight: First-round rookie wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba tallied just three receptions, but none bigger than his third when he took a wide receiver screen for the game-winning touchdown. Smith-Njigba was relegated to being the team’s third wide receiver with D.K. Metcalf back in the lineup although still found a way to flash his first-round talent on that game-winner.
