On the back of Christian McCaffrey, the San Francisco 49ers snapped a two-game skid with a commanding 31-14 win over the defending champion Los Angeles Rams.
San Francisco improves to 4-4 on the season, while Los Angeles needs to figure things out quickly at 3-4.
Offensive spotlight: McCaffrey hit the triple-crown in his second game as a 49er. He scored a rushing touchdown, a receiving touchdown and even had a passing touchdown against the Rams.

CMC became the first player to have all three since Hall of Famer LaDainian Tomlinson in 2005.
Defensive spotlight: Jalen Ramsey was on lockdown against the 49ers. He allowed two catches on three targets for 18 yards and also forced two incompletions. He allowed only 0.64 yards per coverage snap in the game. Ramsey also showed off his physicality with a forced fumble to go along with a run stop.
Rookie spotlight: Undrafted rookie Ronnie Rivers got most of the work in the Rams’ ever-changing backfield. The Fresno State product received 12 total touches, while Darrell Henderson had just four. Rivers was unspectacular on the ground, with 21 yards on eight carries and a 59.7 rushing grade on first review.
Offensive line spotlight: The Rams offensive line held up nicely in pass protection. Los Angeles allowed only six pressures on 37 pass-blocking snaps. Right tackle Rob Havenstein was particularly impressive, with no pressures allowed and an 83.1 run-blocking grade on first review.
