A week after recording a 45.5 passing grade, Panthers quarterback P.J. Walker earned an elite 94.0 passing grade against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, going 16-for-22 with 177 passing yards and two touchdowns. He uncorked six big-time throws in the contest — tying Josh Allen for the best single-game mark of the year — and he went 3-of-4 for 69 yards and two scores on passes of 20-plus yards.

Defensive Player of the Week: De'Vondre Campbell, Green Bay Packers

The Packers linebacker recorded eight solo tackles and five defensive stops against the Commanders in Week 7, and he added a 63-yard pick-six to cap off a productive day. Targeted five times, he allowed four catches for 46 yards in coverage, but only two of those receptions moved the chains.

Rookie of the Week: Ahmad Gardner, New York Jets

Sauce Gardner was targeted 10 times in coverage and allowed less than 20 yards from four receptions. The Jets' CB1 finished with more pass breakups (3) than touchdowns or first downs allowed (0).

Offensive Line of the Week: San Francisco 49ers

The Niners offensive line allowed only nine pressures from 55 pass-blocking snaps and earned the third-best team run-blocking grade of the week. Aaron Banks (91.5), Trent Williams (82.8) and Jake Brendel (77.4) all graded over 75.0 and combined for just two pressures allowed.
