Don't look now, but the Geno Smith-led Seattle Seahawks are alone at the top of the NFC West.
Rookie running back Kenneth Walker III ran all over the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 7, racking up 168 rushing yards and two scores to secure a 37-23 victory for Seattle.
Offensive spotlight: It's not the first time we've said it this year, but Geno Smith was the better quarterback in this one. The Seahawks passer went 7-of-11 for 118 yards and two scores on passes thrown 10 or more yards downfield, and he added three more big-time throws to his season total.
Defensive spotlight: Seahawks safety Ryan Neal saw seven targets in coverage, but he allowed just four catches for 13 measly yards. Better yet, he hauled in an interception and forced three incompletions.
Rookie spotlight: Kenneth Walker had a monster game on the ground, toting the rock 23 times for 168 yards and two scores. He churned out 129 yards after contact and forced three missed tackles, with five of his runs going for 10 or more yards.
Offensive line spotlight: The Seahawks offensive line did a reasonable job of keeping Smith on schedule today, allowing just two sacks and four hurries across 30 snaps on first review.
