In a surprising defensive slugfest, the Seattle Seahawks broke the game open with a Kenneth Walker III rushing score as they defeated the Arizona Cardinals 19-9 to enter a three-way tie for first in the competitive NFC West.
Offensive spotlight: Walker made his first NFL start and didn't disappoint with his opportunity, as the rookie back forced 10 missed tackles, rushed for five first downs, amassed 63 yards after contact and ran for a score on a team-high 17 rush attempts.
Defensive spotlight: Quinton Jefferson manifested three total pressures, two hurries and a sack of Kyler Murray to complete a 76.7 defensive grade on first review. His impact was also felt against the run, where he registered three tackles and a stop on 10 run snaps to finish with a 75.1 run defense grade on first review.
Rookie spotlight: Tariq Woolen registered an interception for a fourth consecutive week and secured a fumble recovery as well to continue an early season Defensive Rookie of the Year campaign for the fifth-round selection.
Offensive line spotlight: The Seahawks' offensive line allowed 14 total pressures against the Cardinals' front seven. Three of the pressures went for sacks and one was surrendered by rookie right tackle Abraham Lucas.
