The San Francisco 49ers might be down to their third-string quarterback, but they continue to win.
With the 37-34 overtime victory over the Las Vegas Raiders, the 49ers improve to 12-4 and are riding a league-leading nine-game win streak. The 6-10 Raiders are now officially eliminated from playoff contention.
Offensive spotlight: Christian McCaffrey made all of his fantasy managers happy today. He rushed for 121 yards and a touchdown on just 19 carries, averaging 6.4 yards per attempt. It wouldn’t be a CMC masterclass without some production through the air, as well, and he duly caught six of his nine targets for 72 yards.
Defensive spotlight: For only the third time this season, Nick Bosa didn’t pick up a sack. However, his impact was still surely felt. The current Defensive Player of the Year favorite recorded eight pressures on 30 pass-rushing snaps on first review.
Rookie spotlight: Dylan Parham had an impressive day for Las Vegas. The third-round guard from Memphis currently has a 74.2 grade on first review. He didn’t allow a sack or hit on 35 pass-blocking snaps, and he excelled in the run game, earning a 78.4 run-blocking grade on first review.
Offensive line spotlight: The 49ers offensive line dominated once again, as the front five didn’t give up a sack or hit on 34 pass-blocking snaps. Guards Daniel Brunskill and Spencer Burford didn’t allow any pressure in the game.
