The Jacksonville Jaguars rolled to a comfortable 31-3 victory over the Houston Texans in Week 17 after scoring four unanswered touchdowns to open the game. This game, like Titans-Cowboys on Thursday Night Football, didn’t matter in the race for the AFC South crown, which comes down to the season finale between the Jaguars and Titans in Week 18.

Offensive spotlight: In a game where the Jaguars never really needed to get out of second gear, Travis Etienne reminded everyone of what he is capable of, producing the two longest plays from scrimmage for the Jaguars as a runner and receiver. He carried the ball nine times for 108 yards, including a 62-yard touchdown run in the second quarter, and caught all three targets thrown his way for 32 yards, including one that went for 30 yards.

Defensive spotlight: It was a busy day in coverage for Tyson Campbell of the Jaguars, seeing five passes thrown his way from 35 snaps in coverage. Just one resulted in a catch, though, and it went for only five yards. He also had a scoop-and-score fumble return in the second quarter.

Rookie spotlight: Texans second-round rookie Jalen Pitre has flashed serious potential as a rookie, and he came into this week with four interceptions on the year. He added to that total with a pick in this game and led the Texans with 11 solo tackles. In a tough season for the team overall, they will feel hopeful about his potential to develop into a star.

Offensive line spotlight: According to PFF's first pass at grading, all four starting offensive tackles (Laremy Tunsil and Tytus Howard for the Texans, Walker Little and Jawaan Taylor for the Jaguars) in this game allowed a sack. From the Texans' starting offensive line, center Scott Quessenberry, who allowed one pressure, was the team's only starter to let up fewer than three pressures.
