On a sub-20-degree Monday night where everyone’s breath was visible, the Green Bay Packers took down the Los Angeles Rams 24-12.

With the win, the Packers keep their slim playoff hopes alive at 6-8. Meanwhile, the Rams are officially eliminated from playoff contention at 4-10. Los Angeles becomes the first defending Super Bowl champions to miss the playoffs since the Denver Broncos in 2016. The Rams are also the first defending champion to finish with a losing record since the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2003.

Offensive Spotlight: Tackling the 247-pound A.J. Dillon can’t be fun, doing so in freezing temperatures must be even worse. The Packers' third-year running back rumbled for 36 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries, forcing five missed tackles along the way. Dillon added 35 yards on three catches as well before leaving in the fourth quarter after suffering a possible concussion.

Defensive Spotlight: Packers linebacker Quay Walker had his best game yet in his rookie season. The first-rounder from Georgia has a 91.4 grade on first review, which would be the highest of his career by over 13 points. Walker got home with a sack on one of his only four pass-rushing snaps of the night. He also had a tackle for loss and two run-stops.

Rookie Spotlight: Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs only saw 23 snaps, but he impressed with an 89.2 grade on those plays. The fourth-rounder from Nevada had five catches for 55 yards on just 10 receiving snaps, averaging an absurd 5.50 yards per route run.

Offensive Line Spotlight: Despite the loss, the Rams did an admirable job of protecting quarterback Baker Mayfield. On 27 pass-blocking snaps, Los Angeles only gave up four pressures. The interior of that offensive line especially dominated. Guards Matt Skura and Oday Aboushi and center Coleman Shelton didn’t allow a pressure in the game.
