Despite a chaotic week of preparations due to the snow in Buffalo, the Bills took care of business in Week 11 against the Cleveland Browns in Detroit to win by a score of 31-23.
Offensive spotlight: Wide receiver Amari Cooper was a constant problem for the Buffalo defense and gave the Browns an excellent start in this game. He caught eight passes for 113 yards and two touchdowns from 12 targets.
Defensive spotlight: Safety Jordan Poyer made a couple of outstanding plays early in the game for the Bills, breaking up a pass for David Njoku with a big hit and tackling the same player for a loss on a quick screen. He struggled some later in the game but made a big difference to the defense overall.
Rookie spotlight: The Browns had three rookie defenders play at least 25 snaps. Third-round cornerback Martin Emerson played the most and saw seven targets, giving up five catches in total.
Offensive line spotlight: Injuries forced a reshuffle in Cleveland’s offensive line, with Hjalte Froholdt playing center. And things did not go well for him. He allowed multiple quick pressures, had some wayward snaps and didn’t make up for it with his run blocking.
