This season, a star wide receiver is on track to break the record for most yards in a single season, and a player in a new city is quietly making a huge impact.

Here are the most valuable wide receivers in the NFL through 12 weeks.

1. Tyreek Hill, Miami Dolphins

Wins above replacement: 0.49

Hill leads all wide receivers in PFF receiving grade at 93.5, but what’s most impressive is how much more productive he has been than anyone else at the position. His 4.02 yards per route run average is more than half a yard better than the next-closest player.

2. A.J. Brown, Philadelphia Eagles

Wins above replacement: 0.44

Brown wasn’t far off Hill’s pace just a few weeks ago after a six-game stretch of racking up 125 yards or more, but he hasn’t topped 70 yards in each of the past three games, denting his chances at leading the league in receiving yards.

3. CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys

Wins above replacement: 0.40

Lamb has been quieter in the past two weeks, being held to less than 60 yards in both games, but he still has over 1,000 receiving yards after 12 weeks. His 2.74 yards per route run this season would be a career-high for the fourth-year receiver out of Oklahoma.

4. D.J. Moore, Chicago Bears

Wins above replacement: 0.38

Given the Bears' overall struggles this season, it’s easy to see why Moore’s season is flying under the radar, but he ranks fifth in the NFL in receiving yards at 1,006. He has dropped just one of the 71 catchable passes thrown his way in 2023.

5. Brandon Aiyuk, San Francisco 49ers

Wins above replacement: 0.37

Tyreek Hill is the only receiver who has topped Aiyuk's 3.17 yards per route run this season, and no other receiver is above 3.00. He has blossomed into one of the top receivers in football in his fourth season out of Arizona State.

6. Keenan Allen, Los Angeles Chargers

Wins above replacement: 0.34

Averaging 2.52 yards per route run through 12 weeks, Keenan Allen is on pace for his most productive season since 2017. His 57.1% contested catch rate is the highest of his career so far.

6. Ja’Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals

Wins above replacement: 0.34

Injuries to Chase and Joe Burrow have contributed to the star receiver's relatively down year, yet he still ranks ninth in the league with 914 receiving yards. His 14 missed tackles forced are tied for the fifth-most at the position.

8. Stefon Diggs, Buffalo Bills

Wins above replacement: 0.32

Only Tyreek Hill has forced more missed tackles after the catch than Diggs, who has forced 19 on 83 receptions. His 4.6% drop rate is on track to be his second-lowest since he arrived in Buffalo.

9. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions

Wins above replacement: 0.31

St. Brown has the sixth-best PFF receiving grade at the position through 12 weeks, and his 13 contested catches are more than anyone else in the league. His 2.62 yards per route run would be a career-high if the season ended today.

10. Chris Olave, New Orleans Saints

Wins above replacement: 0.29

Olave is on track to earn an 80.0-plus receiving grade for the second year in a row. The 11th overall selection in the 2022 NFL Draft is coming off his best game of the year, averaging 5.18 yards per route run with 114 yards on 22 receiving snaps before a concussion put him out for the rest of the game.
