Joe Milton accounted for two touchdowns and led scoring drives on Dallas’ first two possessions, helping the Cowboys notch a 31-13 win over Atlanta to wrap up the preseason. Both teams rested nearly all starters, with Milton playing the full first half in his most extended action since joining via trade.
Milton added a 29-yard touchdown strike in the third quarter after converting a fourth-and-1 with his legs, finishing 10-of-18 for 132 yards. Rookie RB Jaydon Blue also scored in his preseason debut. Falcons quarterback Easton Stick found Feleipe Franks for Atlanta’s lone touchdown in a game where Michael Penix Jr. and Kirk Cousins remained sidelined.
