The New Orleans Saints could be without one of their top defenders when they take on the Green Bay Packers on Sunday in Jacksonville.

The Saints downgraded top cornerback Marshon Lattimore (knee) to questionable on Saturday night.

Lattimore wasn’t listed on the Saints’ initial injury report Wednesday. He was downgraded to limited on Thursday but was a full participant Friday and didn’t receive an injury designation in what should have been New Orleans’ final practice report.

It’s unclear what caused Lattimore to be downgraded late on Saturday.

The Saints ruled out cornerback Ken Crawley on Friday and signed Jordan Miller off of their practice squad Saturday. They also have rookie Paulson Adebo, veteran Desmond Trufant (who was signed Tuesday), safety/cornerback P.J. Williams and safety/slot Chauncey Gardner-Johnson available at the position.

New Orleans traded for cornerback Bradley Roby this week, but he’s finishing up a six-game suspension stemming from last season in Week 1. They placed Brian Poole on injured reserve during training camp.

It’s a bad time for the Saints to be down cornerback help, as they get set to take on quarterback Aaron Rodgers and one of the NFL’s top passing attacks. The Saints will be playing “home” at Jacksonville on Sunday as New Orleans continues to recover from Hurricane Ida.

BETTING IMPACT

Smash the Rodgers passing TD player prop: At 2.5 (+130), Rodgers revenge tour 2.0 might be in for quite a treat against a dilapidated Saints secondary. Rodgers went over 2.5 in 12 of 16 games last season. Find more player props value with the no. 1 player props tool in the game here.

The Saints win total of 9 is too high: With nary a WR and a new QB in Jameis Winston, PFF's 10,000 season simulations show value on the under. See all of PFF's futures model predictions with the PFF Futures value calculator.

Davante Adams over/under 7.5 receptions: No one covered Adams all of last season, and there isn't a human being on the Saints who is going to do that in this game.
