The 2012 supplemental second-round pick was reinstated by the NFL on Friday.
Gordon has 247 career catches for 4,252 yards with 20 touchdowns in parts of six seasons. He caught 27 passes for 426 yards with one touchdown in 11 games with Seattle and the New England Patriots in 2019.
Gordon joins a Chiefs offense that needed another weapon in the passing game. Kansas City adds Gordon to a wide receiver depth chart with Tyreek Hill, Mecole Hardman, Demarcus Robinson, Byron Pringle and Marcus Kemp.
Gordon missed the entire 2015 and 2016 seasons with suspensions. His 2014 and 2018 seasons also were cut short by suspensions.
- The newly reinstated wideout has not played a down of NFL football since 2019 when he finished 79th in fantasy points per game (6.9) and 88th in expected fantasy points per game. There are so many other better options to stash than Gordon at the backend of your roster, even with Patrick Mahomes as his new quarterback.
- The K.C. passing attack is so concentrated on Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill that no No. 3 option has been a reliable fantasy commodity. Gordon's just going to be another ancillary piece in rotation with Mecole Hardman, Demarcus Robinson and Byron Pringle.
