Reporter Ari Meirov has joined PFF to cover all 32 NFL teams as part of the company's new breaking news initiative.
“I’m very excited to join PFF and help elevate the amazing product they’ve already built,” Meirov said. “After meeting with Cris Collinsworth, George Chahrouri and Austin Gayle, I knew the opportunity at PFF was incredibly special and I can’t wait to get started.”
Meirov founded the popular @MySportsUpdate Twitter account in 2013 as a way to keep fans updated with everything happening in the NFL. The account quickly gained a following and turned into a must-follow for football fans across the country.
Meirov spoke about his new role on this week's Cris Collinsworth Podcast, which also featured special guest ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter. Watch the full episode on YouTube or listen to the podcast wherever you find your podcasts.
“[Meirov] does a great job, Cris,” Schefter said in the episode. “He really does. He's become a tracker of this stuff. He understands who's out in front of the news and who's not. Meirov will provide breaking news and insights year-round across all PFF platforms, including the company's podcast network with his own podcast in the near future.
