- Nelson's overall grade of 69.1 ranked him 73rd out of 115 qualified receivers last season.
- Nelson excelled catching the deep ball his rookie season in 2015, ranking t-13th out of 62 qualified receivers in deep passing catch rate at 46.2. However in 2016, his catch rate dropped to 21.1, which was 69th out of 78 receivers.
