The 10 biggest snubs from our Fantasy 101

Over the past week, you’ve seen our PFF Fantasy 101, a list of our top 101 players for the 2016 fantasy season. Of course, far more names than just those 101 were considered. We had 11 rankers participate in the exercise, and that means 11 people who cast votes for players who ultimately didn’t make the list.

Below, you’ll see arguments for the 10 players most highly ranked by each ranker who didn’t make the final cut (two rankers had Rashad Jennings as their top snub, so he only gets one blurb). These guys might not be the sure top options that some of their peers are, but at least some of our experts see untapped value.

LeGarrette Blount, RB, New England Patriots (Pat Thorman)

Blount is the only hammer back on a Patriots’ offense that has finished in the top five in touchdowns each season for over a decade. Since 2003, they have 34 more rushing touchdowns from inside the six-yard line than any other team. Those carries are not going to Dion Lewis or James White this year. Using Blount in season-long leagues comes with the caveat that New England needs to the favorite, but that is not tough to find out or especially rare.
