It’s Week 15 and that means the fantasy football playoffs are in full swing. There are still a number of upside options on the waiver wire who are worth stashing. Also, don’t forget that there’s no value to holding onto your FAAB money at this time of year. If you have it, spend it.
Remember, we cast a wide net every week in our waiver wire advice. Below you’ll see recommendations for shallow, regular, and deep leagues. Players are listed in order of priority and the suggested auction budget percentage is in parentheses.
Keep in mind that some leagues may be more aggressive or conservative in terms of bidding, so know your league tendencies. Regardless of the size of your league, it’s suggested that you work your way down the list and prioritize the top players in your waiver claims for this week.
Shallow Leagues (8-10 teams)
Quarterback
Blake Bortles, JAX (20-40%) — Did you lose Carson Wentz? Well, Bortles could end up being your savior with a fantasy schedule against the Texans and 49ers over the next two weeks.
Running back
Mike Davis, SEA (50-100%) — Davis is the clear lead back in Seattle and should dominate touches down the stretch.
Peyton Barber, TB (25-50%) — Doug Martin returned last week, but Barber was the better back and could serve as the lead going forward.
Jonathan Stewart, CAR (25-50%) — He lacked upside for much of the season, but Stewart is coming off a three-score outing and has topped 100 yards in two of his last four.
Theo Riddick, DET (25-50%) — With Ameer Abdullah banged up, Riddick got feature duties and scored two rushing touchdowns in Week 15.
Wide receiver
Dede Westbrook, JAX (25-50%) — Westbrook is coming off his biggest fantasy week and has seen 33 targets in his first four games.
Marquise Goodwin, SF (15-30%) — Goodwin has a good connection with Jimmy Garoppolo and has 18 catches over his last three games.
Corey Coleman, CLV (15-30%) — Coleman turned it on last week with five catches for 62 yards and a score. He'll continue to benefit from the attention Josh Gordon draws.
Robert Woods, LAR (15-30%) — Woods is slated to return this week and will again be the Rams top target.
Tight end
Eric Ebron, DET (10-20%) — We've come full circle with Ebron after he posted 10 catches in Week 14.
Regular leagues (12 teams)
Quarterback
Jimmy Garoppolo, SF (10-20%) — Garoppolo continues to play well as the start for the 49ers, but his ceiling is somewhat limited by his surrounding cast.
