Week 16. Fantasy championships will be decided. This week’s IDP waiver wire will be firmly rooted in matchups, as we only care about this one week. Good luck.

Defensive linemen

Stephon Tuitt, Pittsburgh Steelers

For the majority of the season, the best matchup for defensive lineman has been the Houston Texans. Week 16 sees them host the Steelers, and coming off the back of a fantasy blank last week again the Patriots, Tuitt is likely friendless in the fantasy world, heading into the most important week of the year. With only two sacks on the season, and having not recorded more than three tackles in a single game, this does seem like an “out there” recommendation, but Tuitt has been pressuring the opposing quarterback, registering four hits and ten hurries in the last three weeks. Play the matchup and trust the process — Tuitt is a DL2 this week and will get a sack.
