We took the week off from DFS Stacks in Week 12 due to the Thanksgiving holiday and ensuing food coma the next day, so there’s no sense in going back and judge last week’s results like we normally do. Instead, we’ll jump right into my favorite stacks on each of DraftKings, FanDuel and Yahoo this week. Remember, the objective is to maximize value. The goal is to find the stacks that give you the best chance of winning a large entry tournament. How do you win those? You do it by running a contrarian lineup that is not like the rest. Our goal is find you the base of those lineups. These are the players you’ll want to build your roster around. Let’s go.
DraftKings
Colin Kaepernick, QB; Vance McDonald, TE (49ers vs. Bears)
Although we’re certainly tempted to go with the naked stack here, playing Kaepernick and no other 49ers skill position player, there’s certainly equity to be had by playing McDonald with him. We’ll take a look at that soon, but first let’s focus on how much you’re saving with this stack. Despite the fact that Kaepernick has more fantasy points than any quarterback not named Aaron Rodgers over the past month, he is priced as just the 14th-most-expensive quarterback on DK in a matchup against a crumbling Bears defense. McDonald is priced as just the 20th-most-expensive tight end on DK.
