Six teams on bye. A Thursday night game. A Monday night game. All of this following a week of bizarre injuries. This week, along with the usual DFS bargain plays, I’m going to mix in a couple shots in the dark for your GPP lineups, along with some genuinely good, solid plays that won’t break the bank.
It’s Week 9. There’s nothing wrong with getting creative, so let’s get started.
Quarterbacks
Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys (at Cleveland)
FanDuel: $7,600 (10th, tied)
DraftKings: $6,100 (10th, tied)
Yahoo: $31 (10th, tied)
The Browns give up an average of 288.5 passing yards per game, sixth-most in the league. They are tied with Atlanta and Detroit, and give up an average of 2.4 passing touchdowns per game. Prescott has yet to throw over 300 yards, but since his Week 1 debut, Prescott seems to have a 17-point floor, regardless of matchups. Getting a bonus isn’t as likely as with some of the higher-priced quarterbacks, but he will put up nice numbers at Cleveland without breaking the bank.
