The top DFS bargains for Week 8

Six teams are on bye and there is a London game. Between those and the fact that Thursday and Monday night games are out for primary DFS tournament slates, the bargains available to DFS players in Week 8 are sparse.

These are players I actually think you can play. I didn’t add the Bilal Powells or DeAndre Washingtons of the world. Instead, I focused on players with major upside that we’ve already witnessed this season.

Quarterbacks

Jameis Winston, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (vs. Oakland)
FanDuel: $7,400 (13th)
DraftKings: $5,700 (19th, tied)
Yahoo: $35 (fourth, tied)

The Oakland Raiders allow 308.6 passing yards and 1.9 passing touchdowns per game. Moreover, Winston has thrown for three or more passing touchdowns in three games already this season. There is a chance for turnovers — the Raiders have seven interceptions and six forced fumbles on the season. But at his price, he'll still outperform.
