Injuries, Injuries, Injuries…

It’s only Week 3 and this entire week has been a scramble trying to fill-in our-season long rosters now that a huge chunk of our teams were decimated with injuries in only the second game of the season.

And again, we are reminded as to why we love DFS. We don’t need to worry about injuries and the ever-changing landscape of each team’s depth chart. Well, we do need to acknowledge those changes and adjust according, but the effects of those changes do not linger in a negative.

In other words, let’s get back to business and find some bargains.

Quarterbacks

Marcus Mariota, Tennessee Titans (vs. Oakland)

Mariota played a very good defense in Week 1 when the Titans lost to the Minnesota Vikings at home. Then he played a rather lax defensive front in Week 2 when he beat the Detroit Lions in their house. In both outings he threw for two touchdowns and one interception, finishing the game with just over 16 fantasy points. He’s still getting used to his new offensive weapons, including breakout rookie wide receiver Tajae Sharpe.
