Welcome to the Week 8 edition of Snaps, Pace, & Stats, where we examine trends in snap totals and no-huddle usage. It is meant to be a 30,000-foot view of upcoming games, with the goal of identifying which matchups will – and which will not – be played on fertile fantasy soil.

San Francisco 49ers at Philadelphia Eagles
The 49ers rank eighth in plays per game (65.7) and their average of 70.7 snaps surrendered leads the league by two over the second-place Giants. San Francisco allows the third-most points per snap and operates at the league’s quickest seconds-per-snap pace (25.2). Despite what the Cowboys did to their run defense (6.2 yards per carry), San Francisco’s league-worst-graded pass coverage remains a path of least resistance. Their games average the most plays, and in four of their last five, the total has hit 49 points, 50 points, 50 points and 80 points.
