Playing in IDP leagues is a good way to diversify your fantasy football experience. Using individual defensive players allow you to eliminate the high variance that comes with team defense/special teams, and it’s a great way to shift your attention to the defensive side of the ball.
Whether you’re new to IDP leagues or a seasoned veteran, having a good set of IDP fantasy football rankings is very important. Below you’ll find IDP rankings for 2019. These rankings are set up for PFF balanced IDP scoring, which values sacks at 4 points and solo tackles at 1.5 points. They’re also geared toward leagues with a full IDP roster of six-or-more starting IDP spots. If your league only starts one or two IDPs, the best advice you can get is to wait until the very end of your draft and select the best linebackers left on the board.
