One of the best aspects of daily fantasy is that every day is different. It truly is a daily game. What might be optimal today, could not be optimal tomorrow. Check the news, injuries and make changes accordingly.

Today, this lineup can give you a good base from which to work. Plug it in, tinker around. Maybe you want to go rogue and not play David Johnson. Risky, but it’s your team. Maybe you can’t stomach a Denver receiver in your lineup after watching them struggle in primetime last week. Fair. Maybe having two Texans in the same lineup, even if they are the kicker and defense, won’t work for you. Then make the change.

No matter what you decide to do from now until Sunday at 1 p.m. ET, here is an optimized Week 10 lineup that should succeed.

QB: Cam Newton, Carolina Panthers ($7,800)

Over the last two weeks, Newton has struggled. He can’t seem to throw for more than 225 yards. He hasn’t rushed for over 50 yards since Week 1. But this is a good week from Cam to bounce back. Kansas City gives up an average of 18.6 rushing yards per game to opposing quarterbacks, the second most in the league. Ben Roethlisberger, Drew Brees, Andrew Luck and Blake Bortles all scored 19 or more FanDuel points against this defense. Both Luck and Bortles rushed for over 50 yards against them, as well.
