My Week 6 lineup scored 127.7 points thanks to some strong performances from Drew Brees, Le’Veon Bell, Michael Thomas and Jarvis Landry. However, it wasn’t all rosy. Poor performances by Julian Edelman, Tavon Austin and the Steelers D/ST made the lineup a fringe contender in cash games.
We’re back at it with the optimal DraftKings lineup for Week 7’s main slate. Note that players from the New York Giants and Los Angeles Rams are not eligible for this slate. (I’m forced to exclude Tavon Austin. Whew.)
QB: Tom Brady, New England Patriots ($7,900)
I initially had Andy Dalton in this lineup — and Dalton is still a good play — but I ended up with so much extra money once I built the rest of the lineup that I was able to upgrade to Brady. Not too much needs to be said here. Since returning, Brady has completed 76 percent of his passes for 782 yards (most in the league by nearly 100 yards), six touchdowns and no interceptions. Up next are the Pittsburgh Steelers, who have given up the second-most passing yards in the league so far this year.
