This is it — fantasy football draft season is here, which means it's time to officially plant the flag on “My Guys.” This list consists of the players who have continued to end up on my roster through the best ball and redraft season because I am higher on them than most. One-hundred percent player exposure across all fantasy rosters isn’t likely, but I am trying to get as many shares of the players mentioned below as I can, so I am comfortable reaching to ensure they end up on my fantasy roster.
All average draft position (ADP) information is sourced from Underdog Fantasy.

Zach Wilson, New York Jets
My Rank: QB18 | Underdog ADP: QB24
The preseason hype has reached a boiling point, as the Wilson bandwagon is almost overcrowded heading into the full fantasy draft season. Wilson has posted the fourth-best passing grade through two preseason games, but his play in college is the real reason to be high on him in his rookie season.
Among quarterbacks during the PFF era, Wilson had the fourth-best passing grade from a clean pocket in college. His closest comparisons, using our college-to-pro projections, are Aaron Rodgers (2019), Matthew Stafford (2011) and Baker Mayfield (2018). If he hits close to these comparisons, he will generate over two WAR in his rookie season and finish as a top-12 fantasy quarterback. His preseason performance only strengthens that expectation. His price will continue to rise, but there is still plenty of room for him to outperform his ADP — which is why I am continuing to buy Wilson as often as I can.
