We are on to Week 9 of the 2020 fantasy football season, and the ability to stream is only becoming more important with bye weeks now a major part of the NFL picture, along with compounding injuries and shifting usage rates.
As always, the following are the best quarterback, tight end and defense/special teams streaming options for the NFL’s Week 9 slate.
Quarterback
Derek Carr, Las Vegas Raiders – 42% rostered
Carr is coming off a brutal week with just over 100 passing yards and a single touchdown, but he’s largely been a solid quarterback option throughout most of this season. In fact, he was a borderline QB1 prior to his wonky Week 8 performance, which could very well be excused when you consider the miserable weather in Cleveland.
Looking ahead to Week 9, Carr sports one of the best matchups of the week as he opposes a divisional rival in the Los Angeles Chargers. The Chargers are currently allowing the third-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks and have been rather susceptible on the ground, allowing the fourth-most rushing touchdowns to the position (three).
