Week 5 waiver-wire pickups for IDP leagues

There’s a little repetition in this week’s IDP waiver wire, as it allows me to blow my own trumpet and highlight some of the top suggestions from last week. Hopefully, some of you will have already grabbed the likes of DE Yannick Ngakoue and LB Zach Brown. If not, it’s time to move quickly and get these IDP must-adds heading onto your roster for Week 5…

Yannick Ngakoue, Jacksonville Jaguars

If you passed on my recommendation to pick up Ngakoue last week you missed out on his third straight game with a sack and forced fumble, and this time he padded out his scoring with four total tackles and an interception. On the field for 74 percent through four games, the third-round rookie out of Maryland doesn’t look like he’ll be taken off starting duties anytime soon, and has moved further up my rankings to be an upside DL3.
