Hermsmeyer: Air Yards Buy-Low Model, Week 11

Atlanta, Georgia, USA; Carolina Panthers wide receiver DJ Moore (2) catches the game tying touchdown behind Atlanta Falcons safety Dean Marlowe (21) and linebacker Rashaan Evans (54) during the fourth quarter at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

  • Big week for The Sun God: Week 10 was a solid week for the model. Amon-Ra St. Brown outperformed expectation and was on the Milly Maker winning lineup.
  • DeAndre Carter thrives: The Los Angeles Chargers WR beat his consensus projection of 10.4 PPR points by 6 points. Not too shabby.
  • Kyle Pitts returns to the list: REDACTED (Pitts) wet the bed. But he got opportunity AGAIN, so is back for another miserable week.

Week 10 Review

Week 10 was more than solid for the model, with a player identified by the buy low appearing on the Milly Maker winning lineup for the fifth time this season out of nine weeks (congrats funkymonk1369).

To be fair, Amon-Ra St. Brown was not the reason funkymonk1369 took down the Milly – it was Christian Watson at $3700 and less than three percent ownership. Still, Brown carried his fair share of the load, and for that, we thank him.

DeAndre Carter and Foster Moreau also turned in solid weeks, while my old nemesis REDACTED (Kyle Pitts) continues to play like an addled octogenarian.

Here are the full results, with players who beat their consensus projections in bold:
