Here we go. Week 1 is about to kick off, so let’s take a look at the flex ranking for the week. Keep in mind that this is a first pass and we’ll update these on Friday. There are a number of injury situations to monitor, and we also need to keep a close eye on the hurricane in Florida.

1. Le'Veon Bell, PIT (RB1) —  We're really splitting hairs at the No. 1 spot between Bell and Johnson. Both are seeing elite workloads.

2. David Johnson, ARI (RB2) —  See above.

3. Antonio Brown, PIT (WR1) —  He's the top fantasy receiver in both PPR and standard scoring. Enough said.

4. Julio Jones, ATL (WR2) —  Heavy volume and a plus match. Giddy up.

5. Ezekiel Elliott, DAL (RB3) —  He's playing this week. Next week, who knows?

6. LeSean McCoy, BUF (RB4) —  The Bills could struggle on offense, but McCoy will still see plenty of work

7. A.J. Green, CIN (WR3) —  Green is back and healthy. Expect plenty of targets in Week 1.

8. Todd Gurley, LAR (RB5) —  He let you down last year, but this is an excellent matchup to start 2017.

9. DeMarco Murray, TEN (RB6) —  Yes, he's 29 years old, but Murray still projects to see heavy volume for the Titans.

10. Odell Beckham Jr., NYG (WR4) —  He's dealing with an ankle injury, and is very much up in the air. Have a backup plan in place.

11. Jordy Nelson, GB (WR5) —  Aaron Rodgers’ favorite target led all receivers with 14 receiving scores last year.

12. Devonta Freeman, ATL (RB7) —  There's still a committee in Atlanta, but Freeman is on the right side of it.

13. Doug Baldwin, SEA (WR6) —  Receivers torched the Packers' secondary all last season.

14. Amari Cooper, OAK (WR7) —  Cooper faded down the stretch last year, but is coming off a strong preseason.

15. Jordan Howard, CHI (RB8) —  The Bears may struggle on offense, but Howard will still get his.
