FAAB bidding strategies ahead of NFL Week 8: The Harrison Bryant breakout week

Free-agent acquisition budget (FAAB) leagues level the playing field for nabbing fantasy free agents after each week of the NFL season. They also allow fantasy managers to employ a great deal more strategy when acquiring players because each team has a limited amount of dollars to work with. All players in this article will be rostered in less than half of Yahoo leagues unless otherwise noted.

Suggested FAAB Spend: 25% or more

Boston Scott, Giovani Bernard and Jamaal Williams are all pass-catching backs who have been elevated to larger roles because of injuries ahead of them on the depth chart. They all scored in Week 7 and are in line for large roles in the coming weeks. All three are rostered in more than half of Yahoo leagues, so this section is simply a reminder to check for them on waivers.
