DFS guide: Week 5 in FanDuel cash games

There are not a ton of great matchups to exploit in Week 5, which may cause you to feel like you have limited flexibility when building cash lineups this week.

But you don’t have to be pigeonholed into the same narrow strategy as everyone else. Here’s a look at several FanDuel cash game strategies you can deploy in Week 5.

Week 5 outlook: FanDuel pricing and projections

The Box: The first row within each tier represents the average salary of every player in that tier. The second row represents the average projected fantasy points for every player in that tier. The third row is the average value of each player in that tier (points/salary*1000). The Box is also color coordinated within each position throughout the tiers.

Quarterbacks

The strategy: Prescott is the chalk, but don’t be afraid to go cheap

Aaron Rodgers and Dak Prescott will likely be popular picks, given that their game has an over/under of 52.5 — highest of the week — but there are a handful of other options as well.

I think if Prescott can fit into your lineup ($7,700), he’s the premier choice of the week. But you could go to the other end of the spectrum with Brian Hoyer ($6,500) and make it work too.

If you’re looking for a quarterback right in the middle, Carson Palmer ($7,200) should be able to deliver after posting three straight games with at least 16.88 points.
