Finding bargains and values in DFS is the key to any winning roster, both in cash games and tournaments. Our goal here is to find you the best bargains for your cash games and tournaments. We will specify what games to use each bargain in and how to capitalize on them in each given week.

High ownership is to be expected from some of these bargains, and we will touch in that in the writeup, so they should be used in cash games. However, some of these players are also excellent buys for tournaments and won’t have high ownership percentages. Generally speaking, quarterback is the one position where ownership tends to be spread out the most — in other words feel free using these bargains both in tournaments and cash games.

(Unless otherwise specified, these suggests are for both FanDuel and DraftKings.)

Dak Prescott, QB, Dallas Cowboys

Prescott is a top bargain on both DK and FD this week and his stretch run without Ezekiel Elliott has significantly dropped his price tag, even after he has played better with the return of elite left tackle Tyron Smith. Now, Prescott is at his second-lowest price on DK in 2017 despite matching up against a Giants defense that just placed another starter (Jonathan Casillas) on injured reserve. Prescott will continue to burn a defense that has allowed the most fantasy points to opposing tight ends with Jason Witten, he’ll likely fool them on a couple zone-read option runs against a brand new linebacker corps featuring players off the street, and he can finally enjoy Dez Bryant breaking free of Janoris Jenkins’ grasp as the Jackrabbit was placed on injured reserve before Week 13. In addition to Jenkins, Eli Apple (hip) is unlikely to play, which means the Giants will once again turn to street free agent Brandon Dixon for significant playing time.

Alex Smith, QB, Kansas City Chiefs

Smith bounced back in a big way last week against the Jets and now he draws a Raiders defense that allowed Geno Smith to move the ball on them with a pitiful offensive line. Smith threw for 342 passing yards and three touchdowns in the first matchup in Oakland. The Raiders have dropped to No. 23 overall in pass coverage and they’ve allowed the 12th-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season.
