- The Carolina Panthers used the 64th overall pick and the final pick of the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft to draft tackle Taylor Moton.
- Moton’s 83.5 overall grade last season ranked eighth in the country last year among all tackles.
- He’s a pass-blocking specialist, allowing zero sacks in 2016 and only eight pressures overall. That was good for a ninth-best pass-blocking efficiency of 98.6.
- Moton can run block too, his 77.5 run-blocking grade ranking 22nd in the NCAA last year among tackles.
- The Panthers need lots of tackle help, as their best returning tackle (Daryl Williams) graded out at just 69.5 overall last season, 45th-best.
