- The Carolina Panthers selected defensive end Daeshon Hall in the third round of the draft Friday night.
- Had 13 sacks and 26 QB hits over his past three years rushing from the opposite side as Myles Garrett.
- Hall’s 38 total pressures in 2016 were third-most among 4-3 defensive ends in the SEC.
- He missed 11 tackles out of 52 tackle attempts in 2016.
- Hall will likely only be a backup and project for Carolina initially, but if he can improve his strength and hands, he could see more playing time as contracts expire for the Panthers.
