  • The Detroit Lions selected Florida’s Teez Tabor with the 53rd overall pick in the second round of the 2016 draft Friday.
  • Tabor's 16.4 cover snaps per reception ranked third among draft-eligible SEC CBs.
  • He’s defined by his ability to play the ball, recording a playmaker index of 25 percent (meaning he disrupted a quarter of all passes thrown into his coverage).
  • In three years at Florida, Tabor never allowed a QB rating of higher than 53.4 into his coverage, ranking fourth in that statistic among FBS corners in 2015 (33.0 QBR) and 16th last season (41.3).
