- He also ranked ninth among qualified FBS linebackers in 2015 with a 13.4 run-stop percentage.
- Cunningham had his struggles when it came to tackling in 2016, ranking 110th among 159 draft-eligible linebackers with a 6.7 tackle efficiency rating (number of attempted tackles per every miss). Cunningham missed 21 tackles on 869 snaps in 2016 after missing just 18 tackles over 1,200 defensive snaps from 2014 to 2015.
